Beginning January 2026 (for tax year 2025), per guidance from Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Notice 2025-15, also known as the Paperwork Burden Reduction Act, the Montana University System (MUS) has opted out of mailing Employer Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage 1095-C forms to MUS Medical Plan participants.


Your 1095-C form will be posted in the Benefitsolver online enrollment system by March 2, 2026. To access and print your IRS 1095-C form, click on the applicable Benefitsolver login button (as referenced below) to access your Benefitsover account. From the Benefitsolver member home page, click on the Personal Documents widget, then click on the 1095-C Employee Statement – 2025 to access your document.

** As a reminder, IRS 1095-C forms are not required to be submitted to the IRS with your tax return when taxes are filed. The form is for informational purposes only and should be kept with your tax records in case it is needed for future reference or verification.
